Wedding invitations are one of the most important purchases that the bride and groom will make during the wedding planning process. This guide to wedding invitations will make the process that much easier for the couple.

Finding the perfect wedding invitations is not going to be difficult.

The best way to search for these invitations is online since the options are unlimited.  The bride and groom should have already chosen their colour scheme and theme if there will be one. The wedding invitations should reflect this theme and colour scheme and set the atmosphere for the wedding.  Guests will know whether the event is going to be formal or with a certain theme just by the invitations that the bride and groom choose.  This is important so that all guests dress appropriately and are prepared for the event.

There is certain information that must be included on the wedding invitations. The first is the names of those who are hosting the wedding if the bride and groom are not doing it themselves.  The full names of the bride and groom should also be included.  This is so that distant relatives and even unknown family friends will be able to address the cards and gifts properly.  The wedding invitations should also include the date, time, and location of the ceremony.  If the reception is at a much later time or different location, then this information should be included on the wedding invitations as well.  The guests will need all of this information in order to plan for their trip to the wedding.

In addition to the wedding invitations, the guests will need a way to respond. This information can be included directly on the invitation or the bride and groom can include a reply card with the invitation. The reply cards provide all of the information that the bride and groom will need to finalise some of the details of the wedding. The reply card should include lines for the guests to include their names, whether they will be attending the wedding or not, how many people are in their party, and their meal choice if one is offered. The reply card should include a self-addressed, stamped envelope so the guests can easily return them. All of this information is crucial to the bride and groom.

There are some additions that the bride and groom may choose to add to the wedding invitations. One of the simplest but most beautiful additions is to add liners to the envelopes. These liners are available in so many colours that the bride and groom can choose ones that will match the colour scheme they have chosen. The bride and groom may also choose to have their return address printed on the envelopes. This saves time and costs little money.  If the wedding is going to be an elegant, formal event, then the bride and groom should add a tissue paper overlay on top of the wedding invitations.  Each of these additions will make the wedding invitations that much more special.

Hope these little tips from our guide to wedding invitations, will help our brides and grooms make their day a little more easier and special.

An Exclusive Interview With Indigo Rocks

Indigo Rocks

Bride Icon first met Indigo Rocks at the Pridelux Atelier held at The Shard in London and we were so awe-inspired by some of the bespoke and beautiful table creations that were showcased.  Indigo Rocks creates stunning bespoke table decorations for weddings and events – all hand-made wedding favour boxes, gift boxes, Christmas and wedding crackers and beautiful place cards.  The creations are designed using the finest paper and acrylics, elegant ribbons and charming embellishments – giving every table that extra sparkle and glamour.  Bride Icon spoke to the Creative Director Jo Rymill to tell us more about Indigo Rocks.

Hello Jo, thank you for speaking to Bride Icon.  Firstly, tell us a bit about yourself and how the story began for Indigo Rocks.

Hello…. I’m Jo, the Creative Director of Indigo Rocks.   I have always made all the table decorations for my family for all of our (very numerous!) parties and gatherings. Over the years, family friends had asked me to make the table decorations for their weddings and Christmas parties, and I suddenly realised how much I enjoyed doing it – from here the idea of Indigo Rocks was born.

With a background in interior design and a career as a creative director for interior design companies around the world, I have a love for pulling together a look across all the table decorations so that’s why I’ve built the ranges so it’s possible to coordinate our products on the table.

Indigo Rocks

What does Indigo Rocks specialise in?

We specialise in wedding favour and gift boxes, Christmas and wedding crackers, napkin rings and place cards/escort cards. I’m also starting to work with accessories such as guest books and albums. I’m always open to suggestions if anyone would like anything in particular made though!

How would you define the perfect table setting, what should it look and feel like, and is there a favourite of yours?

For a wedding,  the perfect table setting is one where you can see the personality of the couple who are getting married. This is what makes a table unique, memorable and fun.

My favourite table settings are when the wedding theme has been taken through all the details, from the linens and tableware to the flowers to our decorative products. Table design is a lot like interior design; when a home is beautifully designed you feel warm and comfortable, the details are all taken care of. It’s the same with the perfect table.  Everything is where you need it to be to allow your guests to enjoy themselves – there’s really no point if there’s so many flowers on the table that no one can see one another!

Indigo Rocks

There is so much diversity in weddings now, how do you come up with a customised design to suit each wedding?

We always start with an in-depth conversation with the couple. We take into account the colours they’ve chosen in general for the wedding party, including clothes and flowers, and we look at any themes that they’ve already thought about for the wedding and we work with those.

We find that what we do is very different to anything else that’s on the market so it’s a really enjoyable process to create something unique for each wedding.  If a client were to come to us with a blank canvas, that’s just as much fun, and we would work together to create something beautiful for them.  We have a gallery of products on our website to get the creative juices flowing to start with.

We also work very much with personalisation so each of the favour boxes is engraved with messages to the guests, giving them something really nice to take home as a keepsake which is a lovely gesture.

Indigo Rocks

Jo where do you find your inspiration from when creating a bespoke luxury design?

I am inspired by so many things.  I have a strong passion for pattern and design, having spent years collecting beautiful fabrics and I’m a magpie when it comes to anything sparkly!  I’ve travelled and lived all over the world and am massively inspired by other cultures.  I bring all of this to my work.  I love it when a client comes to us with thoughts about a theme for their wedding that allows me to research and come up with some really different ideas for them.

With so many intricate details in weddings now, how does Indigo Rocks cater to couples wanting something unique and different?

We find every couple that comes to us is unique, so it’s really exciting to find different materials and designs that will reflect their personalities and help us make their table decorations as unique as them.

I do love it when a couple are looking for something different to all the other weddings they’ve been to.  As all our products are designed to be completely bespoke it means we don’t have to make all the products look exactly the same, we can mix and match.  For instance; we had a wedding where the theme was multi coloured butterflies – we made the favour boxes in a series of different colours and added hand cut and coloured butterflies so each one was different to the next, this design, added to the personal messages inside, made for a very unique box that the guests could keep as a memento.

With no minimum or maximum order quantity it also means you could do something special just for the top table or the bridesmaids, while keeping the rest of the guests a little lower key if you’d like to.

Indigo Rocks

Indigo Rocks

How lovely Jo.  So which has been the most unusual design you have created and what was the theme?

The most unusual one was a couple who were obsessed with Lego.  They had met at a Lego convention and the theme for their wedding was all centred around Lego – they had spent the 18 months leading up to their wedding building their table centres from Lego. They wanted to give their guests wedding favours that they could keep and treasure.  We came up with the idea of favour boxes that were made out of acrylic and each one was engraved with a personalised message and decorated with a small Lego figure made to look like each guest.  We also made place cards to match the boxes. The journey with this couple was such fun and their wedding was so personal and unique – the guests totally loved it!

That definitely sounds like the most unique design…!  Finally, what is coming up for Indigo Rocks Jo, and where can our brides come and see you?

Indigo Rocks plans to keep developing its product ranges while having as much fun as possible with our lovely couples!   You can see our work on the website www.indigo.rocks , on Instagram.com/indigorocks/ and on Facebook @www.indigo.rocks

Bride Icon would like to say a very special thank you to Jo, the Creative Director for Indigo Rocks for taking the time to talk with us and our brides.  It certainly has been a real insight into the world of luxury and bespoke table decorations.  Do send a message at hello@indigo.rocks if you’d like a chat to Jo about your wedding or event.

Luxury Destination Wedding Spots for 2019

Gone are the days of huge weddings with hundreds of guests. In today’s experiential landscape, couples are seeking more intimate weddings in uncharted territories that create unique memories with their closest friends and families.

From swimming with sharks and stingrays in the crystal blue waters of Bora Bora right outside your over water bungalow; to canoeing to a private white-sand motu where you’re greeted with champagne and a French-Polynesian drum ceremony before your personalised dinner under the Tahitian sky!

Or perhaps you prefer an exclusive tour of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, one of the world’s largest mosques with 82 white domes, precious white marble floors, and chandeliers with over 40 million Swarovski crystals; followed by a safari tour in the world’s largest sand desert, where you are led on camel back to a glamorous Middle Eastern-style tented site where you can relax in a romantic spa with Moroccan hammocks and desert rose rituals.

LLG
ABU DHABI – Juliana

Recognising this desire for unparalleled experiences, LLG Events rooted itself in the world’s most luxurious destinations to design, manage and execute once-in-a-lifetime events for clients from all over the world.

“It’s not about getting there, it’s about enjoying the process. We make the event experience less typical and entirely personal by incorporating your interests and mindset beyond geography and demographic. It’s authentic, ethical, eccentric…it’s you. Attain the new standard of luxury, where your event is complete with exclusive experiences that tie emotional fulfilment with unforgettable moments that last a lifetime,” said Teal Nicholson, creative director of LLG Events.

LLG
ABU DHABI – Cal Engel

With this expertise, LLG Events is unveiling the top 2019 wedding destinations of grandeur across the globe.  Bride Icon received the details on LLG Events’ partnerships with 5-star venues, resorts, and tourism boards in each of these destinations.

1. Dubai—The United Arab Emirates plans to make Dubai the top tourist destination in the world by 2025. “Last year, I had a sense that the invitation-only Destination Wedding Planners Congress would select Dubai as the location for their 2019 conference, and I was right! My guess earned us the first invitation to Atlantis, The Palm for this year’s business-to-business platform that brings together over 70 countries represented by their luxury event industry vendors who cater to celebrity and royalty,” said Lauren Grech, CEO and co-founder of LLG Events.

The influx of wedding vendors for this elite conference alone will form partnerships with venues and vendors of the region. Known for splendorous shopping, ultra-modern architecture, and a lively nightlife scene, Dubai is on the rise for attracting engaged couples.

DUBAI – David Rodrigo

Couples can choose to become part of the preferred clique in Dubai’s shopping district and have the groom don a pair of tailored shoes from their in-house cobbler offering a formal shoe customisation service…or they can choose to have their wedding reception on a yacht sailing through the Arabian Gulf with a full crew catering to them as they watch the sun set over the Dubai skyline.

2. New York City— is where people go to achieve their dreams; so when planning a dream wedding, it will always be at the top of the list for prosperous destinations.

LLG
New York City – Fezbot2000

“We have clients coming to New York City from all over the world choosing it to be the destination of their nuptials because it’s the melting pot of cultures where everyone is comfortable coming together, and that’s the most important part of a wedding day,” said Teal Nicholson.

“The best event designs are an expression of who you are and who you’re meant to be. Marrying in New York City allows couples to share their backgrounds, their values, their interests, and their love with components that transcend across generations.”

Additionally, the options for venues are endless, so couples can choose one, or even multiple, that are a true reflection of what they want their wedding day to be…whether that’s a hotel with outstanding views of Central Park, cocktails served exclusively in Baccarat crystal, or royal residences with Louis XIV-style.

3. India“Celebrities always set trends, so with the recent weddings of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, we know that others will start to flock to India for their own interpretations of a celebrity-inspired wedding,” says Lauren Grech.

Premier publications are highlighting these extravagant, lavish weddings that extend over multiple days. This publicity provides all the necessary information on how to plan a destination wedding across the country, whether couples want to marry on a 32-acre oasis with manicured lawns and landscaped gardens; or if they want a property that boasts views of the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

4. Bora Bora—Named the top-trending destination for millennial travel in 2019, LLG Events is enhancing the mindset of Bora Bora from a honeymoon destination to a wedding spot that serves beyond elopements to larger groups of friends and family, with bucket-list activities taking over the itinerary.

LLG
BORA BORA – Shifaaz-Shamoon

“We recognise that couples are seeking a more exclusive wedding day experience,” says Lauren Grech, CEO and founder of LLG Events. “So we sought out a destination that’s exotic, that was not affected by Zika virus, and that could be affordable for those that were already willing to spend on a large at-home wedding. This led us to our partnership with the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora.”

LLG
BORA BORA – Ishan

With a private suite experience that makes travelling to the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora a breeze, and an endless choice of tours and pursuits upon arrival, couples are sure to start tying the knot in this picturesque location.

5. Abu Dhabi is more accessible than ever with an extensive list of new hotels opening. With flights from most major cities, couples can be put at ease when considering the travel experience for their guests with small children or elderly family members. It also often ranks as one of the safest cities in the world.

LLG
ABU DHABI – Martin Adams

With all of the large investments being made in the Middle East, the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau sponsored LLG Events to evaluate 21 of their newest luxury resorts and their accompanying experiences. This push to align with white-glove service proves the significance of the region’s goals of becoming a luxury wedding destination.

LLG
ABU DHABI – Zosia Korcz

They are promoting their varied cuisine, culture and time-honoured traditions, with one hotel having 14 restaurants within it, satisfying any indulgence couples may have on a gold platter; and the Women’s Handicraft Centre allowing couples to source local embroidery, weaving and other creative arts for wedding decor or favors.

2019 Wedding Stationery Trends by Lisa Forde, Tree of Hearts

Tree of Hearts
Tree of Hearts – Pink Country Flowers Collection

2019 is sure to be an incredible year in the world of wedding stationery; we can expect to see beautiful styling reflected throughout a wide range of pieces. Here are just some of the trends set to inspire unforgettable 2019 wedding stationery.

Simple and Sophisticated

Simplicity is key for 2019, with many of our lovely customers opting for minimalist yet sophisticated designs. Many of these are predominantly white, showing that white weddings are as popular as ever. This is partly thanks to people taking inspiration from the royal weddings of 2018, but it’s also due to the rise of small, intimate weddings.

Nature

Many couples are choosing nature-inspired designs, with botanicals remaining a strong theme for 2019. Wedding stationery adorned with roses is a popular choice. However, lots of people are also choosing sunflowers, pairing it with rustic styling – a very widespread theme for the last few years. Foliage is gradually overtaking flowers, with more designs than ever featuring plants, particularly the on-trend eucalyptus.

Royal

Lots of 2019 couples are choosing regal designs – royal wedding fever isn’t dying out anytime soon. Designs with fancy swirls against neutral backgrounds are preferred by many – it’s a classic, timeless look. Likewise, elaborate fonts are also becoming more popular.

Bright

Colours are set to be a massive trend for 2019 weddings, and we can expect to see this through the stationery that people are choosing. The trend of blush pink is dying down, and many are choosing much brighter shades, taking inspiration from the 70s with shades of red, orange, and yellow. Likewise, the ‘Jewel Tones’ colour scheme is also rising in popularity, with many people choosing stationery in colours including shades of purple, pink, and green.

We are also seeing singular shades trending, including burgundy, and Pantone’s Colour of the Year, ‘Living Coral’.  These shades are perfect if you’re looking for something a little bit more eye-catching for your stationery.

Vegas Weddings for all Tastes

Vegas is almost as famous for weddings as it is for some of its more questionable roots and activities. In fact there are wedding chapels on almost every corner and in almost every major casino on the strip and beyond. There are themed weddings, elegant weddings, simple weddings, alien weddings, and all kinds of weddings in between. Other than gambling, it seems that Vegas knows the most about weddings.

If you’re planning a wedding, thinking about a wedding, or simply want to avoid a wedding and would like to run away and get married, might I suggest one of the many wedding chapels in Vegas? It takes all kinds of people to put together a fairy tale wedding however it can be done in Vegas in a matter of minutes. There are even wedding chapels in Vegas that will rent you costumes in which to get married. There are also those that rent the dresses and tuxedos for the more traditionally minded among you.

There are all kinds of wedding packages that can be ordered from the plain Jane and simple Sue wedding packages that offer no frills and no fun to those with more bells and whistles than you can shake a stick at. Where I come from there are plenty of sticks to be shaken. From professional photography to full service spa packages before the wedding for the bride and the bridal party there are all kinds of luxurious wedding touches available to those that are willing to pay for the service offered.

Vegas is probably the only city in the world that has professionals dedicated to throwing bachelor and bachelorette parties for brides and grooms to be. It really does beat all you’ve ever seen and more than most have ever dreamed of. While many people had dreams of fairy tale weddings and mom and dad paying for it, there are just as many who have had romantic dreams of getting married in Vegas since the very first time they heard it mentioned in movies or on TV. There are those that want Elvis impersonators singing as they share vows and others that want him to officiate the services. With so many tastes and wedding wishes, Las Vegas has come through with shining colors as far as making dream weddings possible for all those who enter.

It would seem that in Vegas, no wedding request (as long as it is legal) is out of the question. From the simply elegant to the outrageously campy there are chapels of love for all persuasions from pink fuzzy carpet and candles to outrageous dungeon looking rooms and all kinds in between weddings have been performed for many different walks of life and to confirm commitments for all manner of people and relationships from many countries around the world. Vegas is one of the easiest cities in the world in which to get married and all kinds of people take advantage of that fact for a quickie wedding. The one rule is that all parties must be of legal age and must be consenting. Consent is quite recognizable on your wedding day in most cases.

If you’re planning a Vegas wedding, you are not alone and I wish you the absolute best of luck as you begin your new lives in this infinitely fascinating city of many dreams.

A Wedding Portrait With A Hint Of Hypnotic Realism

Throughout the centuries the world of art has transpired into many avenues of magnitude, patterns, silhouettes, colour and creativity – defining and expressing the intricate points of life and its’ entities.  Artists around the world have devised extravagant pieces that have set the subconscious alight with elaborated visions and mystic interpretations.  One such artist who has taken art into a whole new dimension is Mo Zaic Manchester – taking on a new vision – he has developed his own analysis and trademark with a theme based on psychedelic realism.

Mo’s inquisitiveness in creating art with a twist of psychedelic realism began many years ago, but a brutal twist of fate led him to becoming a victim of a serious car accident before he could thrive.  The artwork he believed in so passionately took a standstill while he faced the battles of recovery.  However, his intense knowledge and expertise in self development trained in Master Hypnosis, NLP and Energy Healing were the only reasons why Mo defied the doctors and made a full recovery.   The techniques that were applied are appreciated and recognised from the vast amount of customer feedback showcased on his website www.mozaicmanchesterbeats.com not forgetting his additional talents of being a vocalist and a hip hop music producer.

Psychedelic Realism

Throughout this journey, Mo maintains his stance on becoming the founder of ‘Hypnotic Psychedelia’ which he first discovered back in 1997 stemming as a hobby then into a career.  His interpretation of this revolutionary type of art endorses the activity of colour and psychedelic patterns, fused with realistic forms of people and nature – taking the observer to look towards an inner world – displaying an assortment of shining vibrancy formatted into a splendid cosmic repertoire.

Psychedelic Realism

A self inspired artist himself, Mo is now looking into broadening his horizons in the world of abstract/realism art by creating a set of unique styles within his portraits.  His collections have been exhibited in galleries with a selection of images featuring iconic artists on the international stages of music, sports and celebrities. His influences aspire from legends such as Picasso, Monet, Basquiat, Dali and Indian artists M.F Hussain, and Tayeb Mehta.

Bride Icon have put together a remarkable selection of artwork from Mo Zaic Manchester.  We believe it would be especially perfect for any bride or couples looking to have a exclusive portrait that includes his own signature feature of ‘hypnotic psychedelia’.   Using high quality paints, watercolours, oils and acrylics this would be an exceptional and unique addition to your special day.

It was not only the vision of the Corinthia that was full of splendour but it was the aroma too.  Creator and manufacturer of fine, natural home fragrances and cosmetic products Stephen Cordina brought together an exhibit of scented candles that lit up the room, but with a magic touch of  combining  the candles with a scented balm of essential fragrant oils, that awakened everyone’s senses and felt exquisite on the skin too.  Visit Stephen’s website to see more of his creations here: www.stephencordina.com

The Wedding Dance

Around the globe couples celebrate their unions with a wedding dance of some sort. Most religions, with the exception of those who still frown upon dancing, have some sort of wedding dance that is a part of this joyous event or the celebration of this event. This is much more than a simple dance. It is the dance that will begin your life as husband and wife. For this reason alone, many couples spend a great deal of time and effort choosing the perfect song to symbolize their love for each. Once decided, this is the song that is to be played for their wedding dance.

BEST surprise father daughter wedding dance to epic song mashup

Your wedding dance is one of the few memories of your wedding that you will have forever. Most of your wedding day will go by in such a blur of faces that there will be few moments that stand out above the rest. Your wedding dance however, is the one time during your wedding reception that you and your spouse are truly alone within the crowd. All eyes may be on you both but this is your moment together and no one else in the room should matter at this moment. This is the reason that most people will remember their wedding dance long after they’ve forgotten other details about their wedding.

Some couples actually take wedding dance lessons in order to make sure that nothing goes wrong during their wedding dance. Many instructors often suggest that you use the shoes you will be wearing for your wedding as well as a skirt that is very similar to your wedding dress in order to actually get an honest feel for how you will be dancing on your wedding day. It is amazing how much of a difference the height of your shoes and the length of your skirt or train can make when it comes to dancing. These classes are very important for couples that truly want to have the fairy tale wedding experience though not necessarily practical for couples that are already working at the end of their budget constraints.

Mother and son perform epic wedding dance

Ballroom dance lessons will often suffice for wedding dance lessons and in many cases are much less expensive if you can take them at a local community center rather than taking private lessons. Group lessons are almost always more economical and can be a great way for you and your future spouse to learn to dance together in time for your big night and your wedding dance.

If budgets won’t even allow for this indulgence to make your wedding dance a little easier to handle you can always opt to purchase an instructional video or DVD. It would be great fun to practice your wedding dance together before the big night and it is a great way to have fun together as a couple even after the big night. You can find videos and DVDs that teach all manner of dance steps that you may find appealing.

Bride and brother pull of epic wedding dance routine

Otherwise you can always wing it. Pick a song you love, a dance you like and have fun without worrying about getting it perfect. You are beginning your new life together as a couple and who really needs the pressure of dancing perfect, right? It is also your day and that is one thing that far too few brides really realize when getting caught up in the pressure of creating the perfect wedding within a limited budget.

Best African Wedding Dance Ever

The thing to remember when planning your wedding and your wedding dance is that you and your spouse to be are the most important people in the process. Do not allow yourself to feel pressured into something that you don’t want in order to appease others. Make your wedding day and your wedding dance completely your own if you are not interested in or comfortable with the idea of taking lessons from someone else. You and your partner will be glad that you did what was right for you when all is said and done.

How To Wow Your Guest With Active Wedding Reception Games

We’ve all been to receptions that are standard – we welcome and celebrate the new married couple, watch them dance, and enjoy cake with them. But creative couples often enjoy coming up with fun games that include the entire guest list.

Including the guests is an excellent way to get people out of their chairs, meeting people they might not otherwise know and feeling like they are truly a part of the celebration, not just observers.

One fun and active game that can be played by all your guests, including grandma as well as the young children, is “want it now”.

In this game, you designate a master of ceremonies (if you have a DJ for your wedding reception, this person can serve as the DJ). The MC will have a list of “wants” prepared before the reception. Everyone sits at their tables, and waits to hear the command. The MC says he wants a person with painted toenails. All the women with painted toenails run to the front of the room, toward the MC. Each time a table sends someone to the front first, they get a point.

Points should be tallied during the course of this game and prizes awarded at the end of the game. Be sure to have some obvious “wants”, as is the painted toenails, or a man with a mustache or a child with a pink dress. But also include some surprises, like “a man with a brown purse” which will require a man to find a woman at his table with the brown purse and run up to the front of the room with that.

Another fun wedding reception game that includes all your guests is musical chairs using men as the chairs. All the men line up and kneel on one knee.

The women begin playing the game of musical chairs, but when the music stops, they must find a knee to sit on. No “chairs” are removed during the version of the game, but instead people are eliminated when either the man falls down when the woman finds his knee or when the woman falls down. Both are out either way, and if both fall down, they are also both out then (as well as perhaps a bit bruised). This is a fun game that often brings on gales of laughter and adds to a relaxed reception atmosphere.

If many guests are traveling a good distance to the wedding or don’t know many other guests, it’s always fun to include a game that will allow them to now only get to know each other but the bride and groom as well. For this game, you’ll need a MC again, which can be a very outgoing member of the wedding party or the DJ. The reception guests are broken into two groups, which can be as simple as having people count off “1, 2, 1, 2” and so on until the entire guest list is either a “1” or a “2”. Then the two groups band together for the duration of the game.

The DJ, or MC, offers a series of questions relating to the bride and groom. The teams should work together to answer the questions, then as quickly as possible provide the answer. The bride and groom will confirm if the answer is correct or not. This is an excellent way for otherwise “stranger” guests to get to know one another and have some fun in the process. It’s also an excellent way to get to know the bride and groom!

Organizing games at a wedding reception is a great way to get people involved and make them feel they are truly a part of the celebration. It’s also a way to fill time, if the wedding planners know this isn’t a “dancing” group or if you want to loosen people up for a long night of celebrating. Whether a small or large wedding, reception games work for just about any group.

In addition, don’t assume wedding reception guests will be offended or annoyed by these active games. Most people report to wedding planners they truly enjoy being more active and having fun games to play during a wedding reception.
